Rex Burkhead, a true Champion!

I will tell you what. Rex Burkhead is one of the most honorable athletes ever to wear a Husker jersey. He is without a doubt a person who best exemplifies the character and pride that an individual should have when representing the University of Nebraska. He was named the 2012 Uplifting Athletes Rare Disease Champion today is a Nationwide vote of over 76,000 individuals. His work and the dedication he gave to develop Team Jack and the caring and support he has given to Jack and his family has really shown the real person that he is. His efforts on and off the field make him a true Champion. So, glad we have him for a little while longer. Here's to a great year Rex. Looking forward to the up coming season and keep up the good work.
