Default Does it feel like OU Week?

For some reason it does not feel like old times. Probably because The Huskers are not quite what they once where. I suppose Sooner Fans felt this way in the 90's.

Anyone out there remember the good old days of Nebraska v Oklahoma week? It really use to be something special.

Post your favorite NU-OU moments here.

Well, it is Tuesday and I did not hear ANYTHING on the radio about SONER week. No SOONER jokes, no talk about the Big Game, even Big Sorts 590 covered basketball..

No, it does not feel like Oklahoma week to me. I think if you are over 30 it probably does not. Several things have diminished this game and rivalry.

First, was the birth of the Big 12 which moved Oklahoma to a south division and Nebraska to the North. The Big 12 in its infinite wisdom killed what was one of colleges biggest games every year . It was the Thanksgiving game for Christs sake.

Second, Oklahoma had its down decade in the 90's while Nebraska dominated the national scene.

Third, now it is Nebraska's turn to be down and Oklahoma is dominating to a certain degreee. Hopefully, BO can bring the Huskers back!

It would be awesome to see this game with both teams ranked in the Top 10. And, be played EVERY YEAR!

well....just isn't that same old feeling anymore either. OU rolled us last nite....but unlike the last couple of yrs., we didn't fold up the tent...we fought. It just goes 2 show how fra we are away from the elite...but then again...how close 2. The next 3 games will tell us where this program is going. Bo had done some good and bad things so far....not letting the players speak was 1 of them.He has 2 remember..not about him, but the program. If u want accountability....let them speak on it....he does when they win.
