Hello Husker fan, Well, I know now why you all had nothing to say last week for Oklahoma week. You knew it was coming too. Humble pie doesn’t taste very good. It’s funny how this week feels eerily similar. All my Husker friends and the cool-aid drinkers I know seem to see another butt whooping coming this week. I agree. So once again the lack of speed bit you in the rear. I actually heard a local sports radio talk show agree with me finally. They said the Huskers are the most unathletic team in the conference. Again, I agree. So Kansas is coming to town. 40 years of futility in Lincoln will come to an end on Saturday. All good things always come to an end. KANSAS 47 NEBRASKA 31

This has been a very strange week. Knowing your going to get smoked has made you Husker fans quiet. I can’t get anything out you, other than you might cover the spread. I’ll agree, you might cover. I’m so confident of your demise this week. That if the Sooners somehow were not able to play anybody due to some kind of freak illness or whatever and they could only suit up their mascot and kicker. The Huskers would still lose 3-0. All sarcasm aside, you don’t have the athletes to hang with OU. You caught Tech off guard with this new offensive philosophy. OU has seen your no identity offense and your new one. Stoops will handle whatever you got. Again, better talent and speed always wins out in the end. OKLAHOMA 52 NEBRASKA 27 THE ANTIHUSKER FAN

So you think it’s all better now? The team is playing harder and smarter. Bo and Sean seem to have figured things out. The offensive game plan makes sense and the defense and offensive line cut the penalties way down. Well it may be better for now. I just laugh that all you kool-aid drinkers who think beating the crap out of Northeast Desmoines High School has fixed it all. While it was impressive, it doesn`t mean anything, especially that you can hang with big boys now. So in saying all that, you might be able to handle Southwest Waco High School this week. Even though I think it will be tougher than you think. I`m calling for a upset here. SOUTHWEST WACO H.S. 34 NEBRASKA 32 THE ANTIHUSKER P.S. Where are the black shirts, if everything is fixed?

Hello Husker Fans, Well I have to say, that I was mildly impressed with the effort and game plan. Bo actually got Texas Tech to fall into his plan. Running the ball for a team that averages 430 yards passing a game was just stupid. Especially with that crappy Husker coverage. They should have just thrown it around and not worry about the scheme of the defense. It seemed as though Bo read my words of wisdom last week. Run Helu. Lucky on 3rd and passing downs and Castile on short yardage. Keeping the ball away from Tech was the only way to stay in it. So now all you Husker fans are getting that false sense of security back. This team still is the same team that has broke your heart before and will again. The Pink Shirts gave up big plays all over the place. The penalties obviously haven`t been fixed. Nothing has changed, other than you got Tech get away from what they do best. Now you get a North rival in Iowa State. They definitely are a different team at home and history tells us that the huskers suck even more on the road. You just enjoy what you think you have. Your going down to the Cyclones. Hello Husker Fan, Watching that debacle last Saturday put a smile on my face. Not because you were destroyed, “NOT”. Of course because you were destroyed by Booger. But mainly because it vindicated everything I’ve been telling you all year. Hell I `ve been saying it since Billy took over way back when. The PINK shirts are everything I thought they were. The Offense is nothing even close to what anybody or I thought it would be. The coaches seemed to be almost as confused as Billy and Kevie were back in the day. Let Helu run the ball. Lucky is obviously meant to be 3rd down back. Use Castille on the goal line and be done with it. This rotating crap isn’t working. Go back and watch the last 3 games from last year. Get that option read Offense going the way it did before. Ganz can run that efficiently and move the chains with his legs and his arm. This Offense doesn’t have the talent to play power football against anybody. So stop trying. Back to those PINK shirts. I actually think they are worse than last year’s team. I know the stats say their better, but they SUCK. How can Bo scheme with less talent than he’s ever had anywhere. He can’t. They need to get back to basics and knock somebody in the mouth. Well now that I’ve thrown all this at you again. Lets all call it what it is. Another year of mediocrity and disappointment. For the most part all the Husker freaks have seen the light and realize it will be a long year. And I will continue to remind you weekly. Good luck this week. Your going to need it. Dear Husker Fan, Home field advantage, under the lights, 30 year streak, Bo being back, Tom being back, the luck of the corn. None of it matters; the tigers are going to destroy you. I have tried all week to come up with something clever about the how you will get beat, but it is what it is. Your going down and your going to do it by 3 Td`s or more. I can`t even make fun of you guys this week. I almost feel sorry for you, but I`m sure I will get over that as soon as Missouri scores their first TD. The dismantling should be. I`M BACK, Two weeks have felt like two years. Finally the real season is starting and the kool-aid is flowing. I actually had a Husker fan bet me the Huskers would win 10 games. AHHH, the sickness is a beautiful thing. Obviously I have been giving you Husker fans the business, in predicting losses in the first three games, knowing the huskers wouldn’t lose. So here comes some reality. SPEED, SPEED, SPEED AND MORE SPEED. Not to mention the talent level, which you guys will be coming up short, as usual. I know it’s the same story I have been preaching for years now. But, Reality is a hard pill to swallow. (It’s been really hard for you to swallow.) I’m not seeing how you win any of the next three games. VA. Tech`s defense is going to hold you in check enough to win. I think we all know what’s going to happen with the next two games. Being 3-3 going to Ames will be very hard to swallow. Make no mistake about it Husker fan. You’re going down this week. To a faster, more talented team. Even in a rebuilding year for Va. Tech. Va. Tech`s defense is going to cause you to make the mistakes you’ve been able to avoid so far, and we all know about the special team play of Va. Tech. Don’t tell me how your defense will be able to handle Mr. Taylor. The pink shirts haven’t been able to handle any duel threat QB. The pink shirts are going to be exposed again. Even with Bo. While the intensity seems to be there, it just won`t be enough. Bo can only do so much. So after watching your three scrimmages and the rest of your opponents. I am sticking with my prediction in my first letter and a 6-6 finish, maybe 7-5 and possibly a lovely Poinsettia Bowl appearance against who knows who. Thanks again Billy and Kevey. Here we go again, The more things change, the more they stay the same. The only way I can describe what I watched Saturday is déjà vu. How can you feel good about this team? I get that Bo knows football. I know you all want to Bolieve. The kool-aid and the red glasses can only cover up so much. You still have all of Billy`s and Kevey`s players. Nothing against the kids, but they just aren`t as talented or have the speed needed to handle even these mid-level teams the way they should be. SPEED, SPEED, SPEED. You just don`t have enough. To be out gained and basically out played by San Jose St. until they were finally worn down in the forth quarter is disturbing to say the least. I know I keep harping on it, but it is what it is. When the big boys come to town I almost feel sorry for you guys. Your unconditional faith and love for this team is only going to bring disappointment. I`m calling for a upset here. Hello Husker Fan, Where do I start? I guess with your defense. While its obvious there has been a lot of improvement in intensity and tackling skills. What does it say when your best defensive player is a converted running back to linebacker. Cody Glenn was awesome. Or should I tell you that your lack of talent and real speed on defense is going to be a big problem down the road. But of course you know that, even though you won`t admit it. The offense looked good overall, not much you can do with 9 men in the box. I think many offensive records are going to fall. Joe Ganz looked almost flawless, and should have a big year. Now back to that pink shirt defense. Giving up 350 yards and 24 points just doesn`t make for a bright future in the conference. While W. Michigan had everyone back from last years team, they still aren`t even close to the caliber of the upper echelon teams in the conference. Your D- line can`t bring the pressure needed to keep the backers from having to blitz to get that pressure. The DB`s are the same old Husker coverage group that I know and love. They stink like always. So enjoy feasting on these pansies. When the big boys come to town it`s going to be ugly. Bo can only do so much. Your scrimmage this week should be a laugher. Hello Husker Fan, I’m not going to beat around the bush. Now that little Billy and Kevin are gone. So goes the embarrassment that was Husker football. Yes, Bo and his staff will make a huge difference. But reality is what it is. The defense, even with Bo leading the way, they still don’t have the talent or the speed to hang with the upper echelon teams in the conference let alone the country. Lucky for you Husker fan, the offense can score on just about anybody. Shootouts every week will be nerve racking, but very fun. So enjoy these first three games, and hope a very good W.Michigan team doesn’t catch you by surprise. (Remember Ball St?) Or, Michighan's loss last year. When Va. Tech comes to town we’ll get to see whom you really are. I say reality will once again raise its ugly head and disappointment will be the word of the day. My prediction is a 6 to 8 win season.
LOL, I would not be the Anti Husker if I believed they will win this week. So, just to stir up the pot I am taking Western Michighan 38-35 over the Huskers to ruin BO's 2008 start!! GO BIG 11 THE ANTIHUSKER

Hello Husker fan enjoy it while you can. Nothing has changed. You can also thank Kansas St. for that win. I think their coaches are as arrogant as Callahan and Co. To have on film how the spread option attack has completely dismantled and brought the pink shirts and Husker nation to its knees over the last two months and not use it some how or at all is about STUPID. Prince and Co. not having Freeman run or move the pocket and not spread the pink shirts out just baffled me. So give them a big thank you. Can November 23 get here any faster? As much as I enjoy Husker nation being humbled the way they have this year. I agree this coaching staff has to go. It’s way past overdue. I will be here next week to tell you how you’re going to lose to Colorado. THE ANTIHUSKER

I am almost at a loss for words. Everything I have been giving Husker fans crap about for years came to a head last Saturday. Its funny how Husker fans sees it all clearly now. Although it is PAINFULLY obvious. This team and coaching staff are the laughing stock of nfootball. Even Notre Dame doesn’t get embarrassed like the Huskers have been. The Kansas game was just a crisp slap of reality. Getting spanked that way was the icing on the cake. The only question is will a new coach make a difference? On to Kansas St. I expect it to be a little tighter game, but who really knows with this Husker team. This Defense is so bad, it looks as though they quit a month ago; Freeman may look like Dan Marino by the end of the day. The Husker Offense is so Jekyll and Hyde anything is possible. Although, the coaches will probably be the final nail that seals this loss. And, their fate! Just another typical day in Husker Ville. All I can say is WOW. Control the game for three quarters and not make the adjustments to stop that read option that the last three teams have destroyed you with just proves once again that the coaches suck and have to go. Oh no, the players aren’t getting off that easy. When you see the same alignment and play run over and over, why wouldn’t the players make an adjustment? And don’t tell the coaches wouldn’t allow it. Somebody make a read and make the play. What do you think Kansas is going to do? I was at that thrashing two years ago in Lawrence and I’ll be there again this Saturday to watch this thrashing. Blitz, stunt, do whatever you want. It’s not going to matter. Kansas will run over, through and around that slow defense, just like everyone else has. Well now that Keller is gone, it might just be a blessing in disguise. Ganz having three years in the system and being more mobile should be good for a few more points Even with all that, nothing is going to change. Kansas 45 Nebraska 27 THE ANTIHUSKER

Well, to say the Huskers SUCK would be an understatement... Even with the increase in intensity in the first half of the A&M game it really didn’t matter, it was made irrelevant by the second half performance of the players and coaches. Regardless of how well the team plays, the coaches will find a way to continue this freefall. Their inability to make any kind of adjustments is an absolute joke. Now for Texas, the Huskers being a 3-touchdown underdog validates all that I have been saying. The Huskers will probably be underdogs the rest of the season. What’s worse is the Huskers will give up over 500 yards again and lose by 30 points to Texas. Just another routine woodshed thrashing you have become accustomed to. What a beautiful year this has turned out to be. I couldn’t have asked for more. Texas 47 Nebraska 17 THE ANTIHUSKER

WOW, that was an embarrassing butt whuppin the cowboys put on you. Running over, around and through you and scoring at will. I do have to say that was probably a worse loss than the Texas Tech loss a couple of years ago. It was really just the speed factor, and the Huskers were on the short end of the stick again. I have been telling you for over two seasons now that the talent and speed do not match up with anybody else in the conference. Except maybe Iowa St. and Baylor. Now on to the crying and gnashing of teeth over the debacle that is Husker football. Getting rid of Pederson and bringing in Osborne is definitely the right move, but it doesn’t solve the problems you have right now. Even when Callahan and his staff are canned after the Colorado game, it just means your 3 or 4 years away. On the other hand, that probably will be better than what you have now. On to A&M. Do you really think that facing almost the same type of team as you did last week, that the results will be any different. Not to mention all the chaos going on in Huskerville. A&M is going to run all over you, beat you down and keep the order the way it is. Can you say 4-8 and no bowl game? TEXAS A&M 37 NEBRASKA 17 THE ANTIHUSKER Posted 18 October 2007 PS. Hello Husker Fan, This is starting to get monotones. Getting exposed on a weekly basis for your lack of speed and talent is becoming comical. It’s a sad day in college football when a Cornhusker football team looks this BAD. Even back in the 80`s when they didn’t have the speed to beat the Miami’s of the world, they still won 10 or 11 games and competed on every play. This team looks sadly lost. Whether it’s the players or the coaches really doesn’t matter at this point. Getting out played the way they have the 5 games is a complete embarrassment. Letting the 93rd or whatever ranked defense Missouri had, hold you out of the end zone and 150 yards under your average is a JOKE. Giving up 600 yards of offense is starting to look like the norm instead of the exception. Bowl game, there won’t be no stinking bowl game. Now to Oklahoma St. Here comes another spread offense, and this one runs the ball better than it throws. Last year down in Stillwater I was there to watch the Cowboys tear a decent defense apart. This PINKSHIRT defense will get shredded and destroyed just like the last 5 weeks. It’s really become a sad state of affairs in Husker land. Cool aid, rose glasses, tradition, pride or Memorial Stadium are irrelevant at this point. YOUR GOING DOWN AGAIN. Oklahoma St. 37 Nebraska 23 THE ANTIHUSKER

WE WILL NOT GRAVITATE TOWARDS MEDIOCRITY! Are you kidding me? Mediocrity would be a step up. This team, mainly the Defense is the worst team I can remember. Including the 5-6 year. At least that team played with Husker Pride and intensity. Its pretty obvious that the coaching staff doesn’t know how or want to motivate this team, not to mention teaching them fundamentals. This staffs game planning for the lack of speed and talent they have just shows they don’t understand their team or college football. Forcing the schemes aren’t working and the inability to adjust are almost laughable. I don’t see any reason why the Pink shirts will get any better. If anything it will probably get worse before it gets better. With conference play starting the Huskers will be the slower and less talented team most of the time. So Husker faithful, go out back start up the cool aid still. You’re going to need gallons of it. The carnage will only continue. RESTORE THE ORDER. It will never happen as long as Callahan and Cosgrove are in charge. Husker Fan, reality can be a real slap in the face. You might as well start covering up now. Even if you beat Iowa St. this week, nothing will have changed. Lucky for you they may be the only team in conference you can out talent. But then again, maybe not. Hello Husker fan, Well, far be it for me to say I told you so. But, I told you so. So much for top ten recruiting classes. Their talent and speed were once again exposed for being mediocre. Sure you can hang with the Nevada’s and Ball States of the world. But that SLOW NON-TACKLING Big Ten style Defense is going to make this a long year for you and a great one for me. I would officially like to call for Congrove’s head right now. He was bad at Wisconsin and he’s even worse here. He obviously doesn’t teach fundamentals like tackling and can’t make adjustments on the fly, let alone at half time. The inability to adjust in big games has haunted this team from day one. I doubt it’s going to change anytime soon. Black shirts, they don’t deserve any Black shirts. Take every one of them and give them the PINK ones they deserve to be wearing. Cosgrove or no Cosgrove, that effort was pathetic. Pink Shirts all around I say. Like I said before, its déjà vu. Lose to USC by 18 pts. Go through the conference and lose 2or 3 more games. Get your rear end handed to you in the Conference Championship. Assuming you win the north. Then lose to a Pac 10 team or a SEC team in another mediocre bowl game. With the lack of real talent and real speed, 8 or 9 wins would be a blessing. So drink that cool-aid and start feeling good about yourself again once they handle Ball State. (Ball st. allowed over 500 yds. Against Navy last week.) Reality will raise its ugly head again on October 6, At Missouri. THE ANTIHUSKER

Well now I’ve heard it all. The cool-aid is flowing freely and the sickness that is Husker fan is in full affect. I actually had a Husker fan explain why the Huskers would beat USC. He told me that because USC lost to Oregon St. last year and that Oregon St. lost to Cincinnati this year, and the Huskers are obviously better than Cincinnati. The Huskers will beat USC. He must be drunk from the cool-aid. Husker fan you squeaked by a Wake Forest team missing their starting Quarterback and best Defensive player. Your team was exposed once again for their lack of speed and mediocre talent. This feels like deja vu. Just like last year, the word of the week is SPEED, SPEED, and more SPEED. USC is simply a faster and more talented team that held back last year because they knew they had to come to Lincoln this year. No need to hold back now. Husker fan your slow Big Ten style Defense and your gun slinging Quarterback will keep you from fulfilling what you think is your destiny. ANY KIND OF REAL CHAMPIONSHIP. THE ANTIHUSKER

Hello husker Fan, I hope your not reading too much into beating up a smaller, weaker kid. A lopsided win is exactly what was supposed to happen. I know the cool-aid drinkers think everything is great in the land of RED. I have to tell you it’s not from what I saw. Yes, I was at the game. I saw a gun slinging Quarterback and possibly the worst receiver play anyone has seen in a while. Keller had to be pulled back when it looked like the wheels were going to come off after that interception return for a touchdown. Purify coming back should help a little. It’s a good thing the Offensive line and Running backs came to play. The defense while stifling has to improve up front. Not being able to pressure the Quarterback without the Linebackers will not get it done against kids your own size. Don’t let me forget that husker coverage. Even with the new Safety and Cornerback they still SUCK. Again thank the linebackers. If the Linebackers have to carry this Defense, it will eventually catch up with them. Wake Forest should put up a better fight this week. Their Quarterback getting hurt just figures. The luck of the corn strikes again. That’s OK the real test is next week. The ANTIHUSKER Side note; The dead silence in the stadium while that interception was being returned and me screaming GO GO GO was awesome.

Hello Husker Fan, I’m going to get right to it. Stir the cool-aid and break out the red glasses, so you can deal with another season of mediocrity. Winning the North doesn’t mean squat if you can’t do anything with it. Losing the conference championship and playing in a mid level bowl is your destiny once again. And that’s only by assuming you don’t lose to all three games to the south teams and maybe get upset by a North team. Face it Husker fan, the order is far from being restored and you will once again be left to remember the glory days. The offense should be fine, unless Keller goes back to his gun slinging ways when he was at ASU. I can only hope. I look forward to the pink shirts getting exposed for their lack of speed and the DB`s being the typical Husker backfield. Don’t forget the coach’s game planning and half time adjustments. That will probably cost a couple of games. With all that, it should be another great year for me. THE ANTIHUSKER
